Blue Light?

Now more than ever, many of us find ourselves in front of our screens as we have had to navigate this new “normal”. Whether it is working from home, video chatting with friends and family, or binging the latest Netflix craze…dare we say Tiger King? All of the face-to-screen time could be doing your skin a world of damage.

It turns out that the blue light emitted from your mobile, laptop and other devices could be causing premature aging of your skin. If you’re serious about preventing premature aging, experts say protection from UVA and UVB rays is no longer enough. Evolving research confirms that blue light – emitted from the sun and our digital devices – is also bad for our skin.

Sounds like bad news, right? Don’t worry, we have some GOOD news! We have products that can help protect your skin, keeping it glowing and young!

FIRST, WHAT IS BLUE LIGHT?

Blue light is part of the natural spectrum of light generated by the sun but is also transmitted from our cell phones, tablets, computers, televisions, and even fluorescent and LED lighting. It also is an environmental aggressor. Other environmental aggressors include sunlight, smoke, exhaust, and everyday pollutants in the air. These aggressors have the same negative effects on our skin leading to premature aging.

What can we do to protect our skin from it?

To combat the effects of blue light, our favorite and most trusted brand, SkinMedica®, formulated the LUMIVIVE® System, a serum duo for day and night. In the morning, LUMIVIVE® Day Damage Defense Serum serves as a barrier between your skin and the harmful effects of blue light and pollution. In the evening, LUMIVIVE® Night Revitalize Repair Complex works to recharge your skin while you sleep. That’s why we trust the round-the-clock support of Lumivive for optimal skin vitality and radiance.

Don’t let the glow from the blue light overshadow the glow of your radiant skin!
